13-Week Adult Introductory DBT Group
Who Could Benefit?
The Introductory Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT) Group is designed for individuals who have been referred or are interesting in exploring DBT skills, such as mindfulness, distress tolerance, emotion regulation, and interpersonal effectiveness. This group is committed to helping participants maintain their improvements, build on the skills they acquire, and advance their DBT expertise.
This program is perfect for those looking to establish a foundation in emotion regulation and progress beyond the basic DBT skills to enhance their personal resources. The group is specifically designed to support participants who are actively dealing with high-risk behaviors, including suicidal or self-harm tendencies, frequent use of crisis services, severe addictions, or significant eating disorders.
The Group Has Three Main Objectives:
- To build a life worth living. Participants will come up with a long-term goal, participate in weekly check-ins to increase accountability and receive support in overcoming barriers.
- To consolidate core DBT skill use. Each participant will provide a brief presentation, followed by collaborative validation and/or problem solving areas in which they are stuck or avoiding.
- To introduce DBT skills. These skills are meant to help participants live a meaningful life, feel fulfilled and trust themselves.

13 Week Teen Bullying Support Group: Teens Recovering through Understanding, Support, and Therapy (T.R.U.S.T)
The Group Has Three Main Objectives:
- Help Teens work towards building their confidence and self-esteem, rather than giving up or feeling hopeless.
- Help develop an understanding of root causes of bullying, identify healthy coping mechanisms, and develop the skills they need to feel more empowered and confident.
- Offer a range of practical resources, such as online safety training, guest speakers, and opportunities to connect with supportive adults and peers.
